I drove 7 days off-grid.
My AI team ran everything.

For two years I tried to scale by hiring. It nearly broke me. Then I rebuilt the operating layer with AI agents — and last week I drove to Alaska while they kept the business running. Six inboxes, deal flow, the hard calls: handled.

"AI didn't replace me. It freed me to focus on the higher-level work."

90 MINUTES · LIVE WALKTHROUGH · RECORDING SENT TO REGISTRANTS

THE STORY

You don't get to leave by hoping. You leave by building.

Before the trip, I told my AI team a handful of things had to keep running without me — email across six inboxes, deal outreach, travel coordination, a deliberation council for hard calls, and a single dashboard I could glance at from a gas station. Then I left for seven days. I didn't just come back to a system that held — I came back to one with ideas: what I could tighten, and what it could improve on next time.

7 days
off-grid, two satellite check-ins
6 inboxes
triaged, classified, drafted — queued for me
0 overstep
nothing sent in my name to people I owe fidelity to
+ ideas
a punch-list of what to improve — in the business, and in itself

"I didn't come back to a fire. I came back to a queue. AI doesn't replace the operator — it lifts them above the busywork."

THE 90 MINUTES

What you'll walk away knowing

01

The trip, play-by-play

Real data from seven days — what the team handled and what it (correctly) refused to.

02

The boundary that made it safe

Always-auto, ratify-then-auto, and never-auto. The delegation contract is the whole game.

03

The architecture, demystified

An open-source agent framework + multi-model routing through OpenRouter. No vendor lock-in.

04

Claude + the team, together

How I use Claude to think, Claude Code to build, and the agent mesh to operate — and how I hand work between them.

05

What you can do tonight, free

A live walkthrough with Claude Code as a coworker for your inbox and calendar — zero infrastructure.

06

How to build the same

DIY it, or have me build it for you. Three honest paths, real pricing.

Founding clients: the first three engagements lock today's pricing — honored for life. I'm not selling automation magic. I'm selling clarity of role: you focus on the high-leverage work, the team operates the day-to-day, and the same human makes better decisions, faster.

STRAIGHT ANSWER

Who pays for the AI?

You do — directly and transparently. You own your AI, including the API key, and nothing is ever marked up by me. My fees cover the build and the partnership, not a margin on your usage. There are two ways the model cost can run:

Run it local

Models run on your own machine — no per-token bill at all. The model cost folds into the one-time setup; after that your hardware does the work for effectively $0/mo.

Note: capable local hardware (a machine that can run the models) is yours to own — not included in my fees.

Run it cloud

Route through OpenRouter to Claude, OpenAI, Grok, and others — from a few dollars a day up to a predictable monthly spend, scaling with how hard you use it.

And you're never locked to one model. Each job routes to whatever fits — often a cheaper, faster model than Claude for routine work, with the premium models reserved for the calls that actually need them. Your infrastructure, your key, your data.

WHO'S BEHIND THIS

A craftsman

Gradey Iverson
GRADEY IVERSON · SOLDOTNA, AK

I'm Gradey Iverson. I came out of oil-and-gas burnout, failed a couple of businesses on the way, and ended up building in real estate and software. Along the way I learned the hard lesson every solo operator learns: you can't scale on willpower, and hiring too early breaks you.

So I built an AI operating layer instead — a team of agents that runs the day-to-day under a clear set of values, with hard boundaries around anything that touches another human. It's not magic and it's not hands-off. It's leverage at the cognitive layer, so the operator can finally work on the business instead of in it.

On June 25 I'll show you exactly how it works — the wins, the limits, and the parts that are free to copy tonight. Then, if it fits, we build yours.

"It didn't replace my assistant — it replaced her busywork. The AI took the repetitive load off her plate so she could move up into higher-value work. That's the whole pattern: AI doesn't kill the role. It promotes the person."

Called to build. Still in the fire.

Build a team before you hire one.

The cognitive leverage compounds. Whether you DIY or we build it together — the principle stands.
